About the Qi Lady
Nancy Davison, Experienced Acupuncturist and Physical Therapist
With 12 years of experience, Nancy is licensed in North Carolina as an Acupuncturist and Physical Therapist. She has a Masters Degree in Acupuncture from the TAI SOPHIA Institute in Columbia, Maryland and actively speaks on the benefits of holistic medicine in addition to running a fulltime practice.
Nancy enjoys working with clients of all ages and conditions, particularly athletes and those with active lifestyles. Her goal is to address acute symptoms before they become chronic.
In addition to completing her schooling in Physical Therapy and her Master’s in Public Heath Administration at the University of North Carolina, Nancy was introduced to Zero Balancing in 1997, during her study of acupuncture. Today, she uses it to help her clients deal more efficiently with the chronic pain and its effects on the body and is fully certified by the Zero Balancing Association. Click here to learn more.
During her training as an acupuncturist, Nancy developed an active practice of Qigong and incorporates these skills through all of her services. She has studied with both Chang Zhang at the TAI SOPHIA Institute and Karl Ardo of Moving in Stillness in Baltimore, MD.
Nancy is the only acupuncturist in North Carolina who is certified in the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture System. Programs bring attention to areas around the eyes, mouth, under chin or abdomen while treating the whole person.
Nancy brings over 25 years of experience in physical therapy to her practice. Over these years, her expertise in chronic and acute care has provided her with great insight into various sources of pain. As a holistic practitioner, Nancy offers a variety of modalities from acupuncture to zero balancing and physical therapy to help you find the freedom from the stress held within your body which relieves pain.
