Jan 28 & 28th - Attended a 2 day workshop to refresh my understanding of the Officials that describe the universe of “us”
We have a gifted instructor in Ian Florian, MAc, MAc (UK), LAc right here in Durham. The interaction of the Officials in Five Element Acupuncture represent the clinical manifestation of Body, MInd and Spirit integration. Chapter 8 of the Su Wen eloquently describes the interaction of the many aspects of our being as reflected in health and illness. I am committed anew to the importance of patient and practitioner working together to find the best approach to creating wellness.
Update on Five Element Acupuncture
The class provided a wonderful opportunity to be reminded of the elegance of this style of acupuncture. This class is part of an ongoing series of classes that will explore numerous components of traditional (five element) acupuncture. I completed my original degree in 1999 and look forward to this fresh learning.

Update on Five Element Acupuncture
Nancy Davison, PT, LAc attended a two day continuing education program in Durham, NC to refresh her skills in Five Element/Traditional Acupuncture. The course was taught by Ian Barbara Florian, MAc, LAc, MBAcC a long time practitioner and teacher who received her education in the US and the England.
